Many electric vehicles are used throughout the day. Mobile phones, computers, microwaves, refrigerators, sockets, modems and more countless electrical and electronic devices. Without them, life is no longer possible. However, on the other hand, electromagnetic fields are formed around these devices that make life easier, which adversely affect human health. The most obvious effects on human health are anxiety, allergies, insomnia and dry skin.
Today, the electromagnetic field is everywhere. In particular, electronic devices emit a wave at any time, even if it is not currently being used. To get rid of these effects, it is necessary to live away from people and not to use electrical and electronic tools in any way. This is not so easy.
Electromagnetic fields are the result of the accumulation of the electrical charge generated by all the electronic devices of the power sources, television antennas, radio or telephone stations. As soon as any electrical device is plugged in, the electronic waves surrounding the device begin to spread into the air. The higher the voltage, the higher the density of the electronic field.
If you look at the surrounding Wi-Fi hotspots to access the internet from a desktop computer or smartphone, they all actually come into contact with the human body in some way.
In the meantime, we must not forget that the Earth itself generates energy and there is a natural electromagnetic field surrounding the earth. Especially in recent years, electromagnetic fields have been increasing, but although it is so widespread, there has not been a long-term study on the negative effects of continuous exposure to it. People who spend their entire day in an electromagnetically charged environment feel the effects of this every day and experience some health problems. Here are some of these effects: depression, nervousness, anxiety and similar nervous system disorders, insomnia, various allergies, vision problems, hypertension, dry skin, concentration problems, dizziness, disorientation, stress, migraine, infertility and pregnancy problems, heart rhythm disorders. In addition, a number of studies have shown that electromagnetic fields present cancer risk in the long term.
Importance of Electromagnetic Field Measurement
Physically, the electromagnetic field is an effect that electrically charged particles create around them and exert forces on other electrically charged particles. This force may be in the form of a push-pull force or in a direction perpendicular to the line in between. The electromagnetic field arises when electric charges are displaced in this manner, that is, when an electric current moves. The measurement of electromagnetic fields is based on their frequencies and wavelengths. Frequency is the number of vibrations of a wave per second and is measured in Hertz. Wave length is the distance traveled by the wave during vibration. When the frequency increases, the wavelength decreases and the energy emitted increases. Electromagnetic field measurement must be carried out especially in high voltage lines.
In accordance with the Occupational Safety Directive 2013 / 35 / EU issued by the European Union, the legal arrangements for electromagnetic field measurements in early July of the year 2016 must be made in all member states. These studies are carried out by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in our country.
In the annex of the Regulation on Health and Safety in the Use of Work Equipment (Annex-III), which is related to maintenance, repair and periodic checks, electromagnetic field measurement is included in the subject of installations. Therefore, measurement work must be carried out by electrical engineers, electrical technicians or high technicians.
Today there are many test and inspection organizations and they provide electromagnetic field measurement services to the enterprises. Within this framework, our organization TÜRCERT Technical Control and Certification Inc. provides electromagnetic field measurement services with a competent manager and employee staff and a strong infrastructure.
