ISO 9000 standards are the quality assurance model used to establish a quality system in an enterprise or to evaluate an existing quality system. Regardless of which sector they are operating, all enterprises want to establish quality management systems or improve their installed systems in order to control their business processes and create customer satisfaction in this way. The ISO 9000 range of standards is intended to provide this. The standards that make up the array are:
- TS EN ISO 9000 Quality management systems - Basic principles, terms and definitions. (This standard defines terms and describes the essential requirements for quality management systems that form the basis of the ISO 9000 standard series).
- TS EN ISO 9001 Quality management systems - Requirements. (This standard describes the requirements that an entity must meet within the framework of a quality management system. These requirements are directed at the ability of the entity to provide its products and services on a regular basis, or to improve customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and effective implementation of the system).
- TS EN ISO 9004 Quality management systems - Guidelines for performance improvements
If an entity receives an ISO 9001 Certificate, it must first complete the requirements that must be met during the installation of the system. These requirements are contained in the ISO 9001 standard. Businesses that meet the requirements of this standard may apply to a certification body and request a Quality Certificate. If the certification body first determines the readiness of the enterprise by performing an audit and finds that the necessary conditions are met, it issues an ISO 9001 Certificate and delivers it to the enterprise.
What is Business Quality Certificate?
The ISO 9000 series of standards is in fact suitable for all types of enterprises, regardless of the sector. Nevertheless, there are other sector-specific Quality Management Systems built on the Quality Management System based on the characteristics of the relevant sector.
Therefore, the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certificate, which is generally requested by enterprises, is sometimes referred to as the Enterprise Quality Certificate.
ISO 9001 Certificate proves that the enterprise systematically establishes the standards and continues its activities by adhering to these standards, revising its processes depending on the developing conditions and when needed, thus ensuring the continuity of the system.
