Astronomy Quality Certificate

First, in the 1957, the Soviet Union sent a vehicle called Sputnik I into space. This vehicle is the first man-made object to be sent into space, to travel around the world, to make atmospheric studies and to send radio signals from space. A year later, this time America launched America's first American satellite Explorer I.

In fact, astronomy studies have been going on since the first people. The first people studied the sky, the movements of the celestial bodies, and their positions during the year in order to adjust their agricultural activities according to the seasons and made calendars. In those years, astronomical studies were based on religious foundations in Egypt and on a mathematical basis in Mesopotamia. It is a Mesopotamian civilization that calculates a week in 7 days, a day in 24 hours, a clock in 60 minutes and a minute in 60 seconds. In ancient Greece, astronomy was based on a geometric basis.

In the Middle Ages, Europe experienced a dark period but scientific studies were conducted in the Middle East and many valuable scholars were raised. Great studies have been made especially in the field of astronomy and the first observatories were established here.

In the fifteenth century the capital of Turkestan Samarkand is a science center. A book prepared with observations and observations in the observatory established here was the masterpiece of astronomy until the seventeenth century.

ISO 9001 Standard in Astronomy Studies

Modern astronomy (astronomy) studies in our country started with the Rasathane-i Amire founded in the late nineteenth century and the Kandilli Observatory established in 1910. Scientific observations at this observatory began in 1945. Today this place is known as the Kandilli Observatory of Boğaziçi University.

The center of observational astronomy studies in our country is TUBITAK National Observatory in Saklıkent, Antalya. Here giant optical telescopes and robotic telescopes are used for scientific research and observations of various celestial bodies.

As a result of technological advances and international cooperation since the 2000 years, astronomy has started to move faster. Nevertheless, our country has limited opportunities in this regard. In addition to these efforts, it is important that the organizations operating in the astronomy sector adhere to the principles of total quality management in order to be systematic, compete and produce quality results.

our organization TÜRCERT Technical Control and Certification Co., also provides certification to astronomical organizations and gives Astronomy Quality Certificate. You can contact our company's managers and employees in this document and in all matters concerning ISO 9001 standards.
